Instant Pot 13 Bean Turmeric Chili

Y’all, I came up with this recipe when I was craving soup, but didn’t have any and need it fast.
You won’t believe me when I share how easy it is.
For all of my Midwest/East Coast people, I am hearing how horrible the weather is over there so this is perfect to help you stay warm.

If you still haven’t gotten yourself an Instant Pot. Please get one now. The one I use is below.



  • 1lb of lean ground beef

  • 2 cups Bob’s Redmill 13 bean mix (soaked overnight)

  • 1 (32 oz) carton of organic bone broth

  • 1 jar (2lbs) of your favorite marinara sauce

  • 3 TBS garlic salt

  • 1 TBS cumin

  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper

  • 3 TBS turmeric

  • 1 TBS pepper


Directions :

  1. brown the ground beef on saute mode in the instant pot

  2. add garlic salt, turmeric and pepper

  3. stir in the beans that were soaked over night

  4. add the bone broth and pasta sauce

  5. Cook on soup mode (30 mins) and enjoy!

That is it.. truly it is the easiest soup I have made. So much flavor and even the kiddos love it.

Turmeric contains curcumin whic is the main active ingredient. It has powerful anti-inflammatory effects and is a very strong antioxidant.

Bone broth “liquid gold” contains collagen and gelatin and aids in gut health, boosts immune system and also has anti-inflammatory proporites!
